I would think a grand is about right for a liveaboard, but you could check out
Tony Backhurst as a lot of the cost will depend on the boat, flights etc. They have the wrecks & reefs around the same time for £995 on Whirlwind, so cost wise it is about right.
I have been on one or two trips through aquatours, and always found them helpful and no problem at all.
