Although being an early start i knew it was going to be an arduous day to say the
least setting off from home just after 2am.
The days diving went really well with me, chris and grant following a spot on
profile over the 2 dives in the day, following that traveled home feeling content
from a great days diving.
I left for work yesterday morning feeling relativley well apart from feeling
very fatigued, general post dive tiredness and felt during the day that aches and
pains where not receeding in there severity.
more and more during the afternoon the pain in my left shoulder got worse
making it so i could hardly move it above waist level without the joint being on
fire.
Early evening i decided to phone gerrard at the hyperbaric unit in hull to get his
opinion on my shoulder pain.
his opinion on the matter was possibley a shoulder joint bend, and at the end of
the call asked me to make my way to hull at 5 am this morning for a 6am start .
basicaly im now at home after doing a table 6 in the chamber and feeling like ive
been kicked upside down
And to top it all off im back in the morning for another 2 hour
session to finish me off.
just goes to show that even the best laid plans can go tits up!
The message to people is dont be scared to make that call if you are in any
dought of your post dive fitness get checked out
best wishes a very sore and achey dive buddha |
Very sorry to hear this.
Can I ask did the pain lessen in any way during treatment?
Anthing in the diveing that you could point to to induce a bend?
Funny enough, I have done loads of deep and dark stuff and never got bent. The only bend I ever had folowed an uneventfull day in Stony Cove???
Go figure.
