I would like to try one and see one, I agree with Christian about the first things that come out. Rebreathers remain a high price because of relatively low sales volume, things like the Vee-cam will be of similar ilk in my view. That is if anyone else tries to make one. The quality will probably be acceptable for the masses, but when I take footage off my DV cam, I get roughly 1 minute per gb. And I'm not talking HD or wide screen, just standard DV, compression algorithms will shrink it but also lose quality. If you want a compressed video of dubious quality, with playback, use you compact digicam. Get a really big card, half fill it with Road Runner cartoons and watch them on deco, sorted

If you want a cheap underwater camera system, do what Mdemon does, stick a camcorder in an old torch.
