There's a couple of good sites off of North Stradbroke Island. At that time of year you should see mantas, leopard sharks and shovel nose rays.

Then there's the Curtin Artificial reef off of the back of Moreton island which is made up of a number of small wrecks.

And a bit further north is Mooloolaba, and the HMAS Brisbane was deliberately sunk off of there in about 30m of water.
