Basically i deliberately overweighted (as suggested above by nigel) to see if the dump valve was more effective - normally i carry less. Certainly felt like a lot more inflating/dumping than normal and more general faff.

if you are correctly weighted (are you diving twins or a single by the way?) then the amount of gas you would need for the suit is minimal (just enough to loft the material in your weezle) - again I assume you are using a wing and you are using it for buoyancy (rather than the suit)

Yesterday single and yes a wing. The only "new" kit is the suit with shoulder dump vs my older suits with a cuff dump hence the issue with this thread wondering if its my undersuit. The wing etc ive had for about a year.
Basically, im struggling to adapt to a shoulder dump from a cuff dump as im finding it isn't dumping as quickly or reliably. I must admit now after some testing im beginning to believe its my undersuit causing some issues and just being unfamiliar with the shoulder setup. Im looking for a new undersuit anyway as im cold in my weezle.
