I was on a scillys trip ages ago, and the forecast was not good, so I went and got a flexifoil stunt kite from a place on the web (along with the brill flexifoil book) and had a go... managed to keep crashing the damm thing...
then had a go with a 3.5 bullet (totally untrained) and almost ended up in casulity as it lifted me off the ground and I landed rather badly (totally my fault)!! so I decided that if it was a diving skill i'd get trained, so I asked around, and ABW were recomended by someone I know....
Off I went and had a great day's course with them.... taught me how to kite more safely and then made me a brew as I talked myself into buying a kite
Personally I think that to use these things you need some training as these things can have awesome power.... Tim, you've met me, imagine 3.5m of fabric pulling me round a field like a rag doll.....

damm it can be fun
Cheers
Neil
p.s. if you do the course take a hoodie with you.... they will explain!!
