[Diving Dude]

As the title says, enoughs enough.

Anyone remember Jay's thread about being fed up with anyone and everyone taking the piss because of Si's picture ? he was called Scubagay for a while and after a while it really pissed him off, well now it's my turn.

The first time someone called me Diving Dud was funny, so was being was called a Pikey, but now every Tom Dick and Harry thinks they know me well enough to do it and it's getting very boring.
Along with anything to do with being overweight, they all think, Oh Howards a laugh (as most people do with overweight people, why is this?)he won't mind if we rip the piss because he's overweight, this may have been funny 30 years ago, but not any more.
Same as when l was a RB newbie, a certain Direr was my instructors safety diver and obviously my buoyancy was crap, it was a mod 1 course, well the times l've had to indure the 'crap buoyancy/ kicking up silt' shite is unbelievable.



Another one is the age thing. Again it was funny the first time someone said l was 50. This was a couple of years ago, but FFS every few months it's the usual crap, "it's the Dud's 50th birthday again" how boring and unimaginative.

Maybe l'm being sensitive, but that what happens when being in the building trade, as l have been since l left school 33 years ago, you get regarded as a second, or even third class citizen.

Or it could just be the scotch and l'll be a happy bunny in the morning so you can all have fun with the usual highly original fat Pikey builder stuff.
