Is this allowed?

The S/W London "Right Hard Divers" are going to the Arctic Circle for a spot of diving under the ice in March. Three years ago I was talked into joining the Russian branch of "Right Hard (but very shrunken) Divers" as you can see here:

Now my question is this: Can I tout for sponsorship (all proceeds to the RNLI) on behalf of Tourist? I suggest you sponsor him to take a skinny dip during our trip. If I get enough kind donors, he won't be able to decline Some of you may have met him when you had your HSE medical done.

He doesn't know I'm doing this - does that make it:
a) reprehensible
b) a damned good idea

Any takers?

Cheers, Chris
