| I dont like Apex computers. This is a personal thing to many beeps and pings under water, also my buddy has went through 3 of them so far and none have worked right.
I went for a nitrox computer with no gas switching when I started diving (sunnto stinger) and was informed at the time that I should have bought the gas switching model as I would need it later on. 5 years later I bought the gas switching model (Vytec DS) and did not need it. I still used my first comp as a bot timer with tables when using accelerated deco or as a wrist watch when not diving.
IMHO get a second hand Sunnto Stinger it is a great tool and will last a lifetime.
