| Does this all mean that you now only need a HID if you want your torch to be a signalling tool and/or DIR compliant?
If you don't want a signalling tool, but do want a really bright, tough torch to explore wrecks with (and fend off jealous buddies) you want a Solus or similar(?). Or does the HID's penetration still make it the one to go for?
When I see photos or videos of the 21w Salvo the centre spot seems so bright that you can't see what it is illuminating. I haven't dived with one so maybe this isnt the case underwater... |
