Adobe Photoshop 7.0 advice needed.

Hi,
I have been given a series of commands that help rectify the colours of an underwater photo. It is quite a laborious task, 40 clicks and three keyboard functions.
Apparently, the whole thing is already in Adobe under actions, underwater, but I can't seem to get that to come up.
Does anyone know if I can put all the functions into some sort of memory within Adobe so that it will perform them all in one go? Like a "custom action?" Or am I just being daft. Life ain't that easy sort of thing.
TIA

Paul
