IANTD always preferred 80%, but their 60m 21% tables said deco with AT LEAST 75%, don't forget nitrox blending could be a bit hit and miss on the higher pressures early on.... it was a dark art, if on a boat and you got 75% you couldn't just whip out the PDA or laptop and punch a few numbers to recalculate your deco, Proplanner only came out in 1993 ( I think ). You just unfurled your vinyl tables and read them and were within the % required..... then you went diving!
