well, you could:

1. contact DELTA P for a replacement strap.
2. pop along to a haberdashery dept. as they might have something suitable.
3. not sure about the VR3 strap diam. but i changed my VR2 strap for a 25mm diam. one-piece rubber strap that was surplus to requirements.
