On my many wee jaunts all over the country, diving with a larger variety of clubs and people i have come to realise that certain areas have things that are just not done, and types of kit that are not used.
Some clubs like to use a snorkel religiously
Marys lot think that auto airs are the work of the devil
One yorkshire lot i dived with liked to put their suit feeds on before they donned their jackets/wings
Some people use lbs some use kg for lead
Some clubs all use split fins, some use jet fins.
Ankle weights are de rigeur or naff
Weight harnesses ditto
Any more strangeness you have noticed?
