I'm talking about the pumphouse quarry the one with the Island.

I have heard rumers of lots of fish different species of fish being cought by local anglers.
This is why I want to dive it.

I had a walk around just after new year and could not find a feasible way in
that would not involve SRT/a wire ladder to a tree to get back out Northern/pump house end.
It looks just about possible to get in and out at the southern end.
There is a track and turning area close to the south end. I have not investigated if there is indeed accessa along the track.
The problem is that the "Bridge" leading from the turning area to the quarry ege is so over grown that one would need a machte and quite a bit of time to get through, or take a D-tour through the bushes that I would not fancy in dive kit.
The west side appeard to be all high vertical walls.
The east side is a posibillity but from what I have seen I don't fancy stubling down the steep potentially unstable slope of sharp waste slate not to mention the gorse and brambles and
I'm not easily put of by a bit of climbing/balancing.

I was thinking investigate possible enty sites from the water side but don't necessarily fancy swimming it at this time of year.
Anybody got small inflateble dinghy (spare 150lbs wing?)?
For a snorkel i won't even have to wait until I can clear my ears again.
But I fancy sombody to be there just in case it proofs more tricky to get back out than it looks.
