Only advice I can give is to be sure what your team protocol is. I tend to follow the same protocol as Ada (deepbull), teams will vary.
Typical scenario is.
Longest run times in first.
First pair in put their tags on the lazy (which is still on the boat) they drop down and tie in the main shot and send up an indicator to say it is tied onto the wreck.
Second pair in have already clipped tags onto the lazy and then take this in with them and tie it in using a double prussik loop at approx 26 metres.
Each additional pair clip their tags onto the loop at the end of the lazy, i.e 26 metres.
Put your strobe on the line, not at the very bottom as you won't see it properly when returning 8-1o metres up is best.
Everyone goes off and has a good dive.
You all get back to the shot...nothing else is acceptable.
Remove your tags as you reach the lazy...and come up the lazy, not the main shot.
Last pair come up and there should be no tags left (unless someone did not get back to the shot) They detach the lazy and ascend.
The top of the lazy gets quite crowded so once it is disconnected, not before, then feel free to bag off and drift with the lazy.
Of course the problem occurs when the pair who thought they were supposed to be last ascend, and there are still tags, generally this means that someone is still on the wreck, or someone didn't get back to the shot. So in this case they cannot disconnect. But as some predetermined time this line MUST be cut free. (Try staying on a deco station which is still attached..it is not fun I assure you)
Those people that didn't get back to the shot are one their own.
Now this is meant to be a general guide, every team will have slightly different protocols, so check.
All the best
