I would get a frogman lenser as a backup. Ive used the old style one as a primary light for lots of uk diving and ive been very pleased with its brightness and durability. The new ones have a better switch and are supposed to be quite a bit brighter too. I also think that using LED torches as a backup is much better than normal bulbs due to there reliabilty as they do not have bulbs to blow and they have amazing battery life. I can get 10 to 20 dives out of 4 AA's in my frogman, and even then its still going quite strong. Look at feburary's dive magazine it performed nearly as well as a £400 greenforce tristar yet cost £40, a total bargin. Plus its a nice well made piece of kit. Nuff Said.
