Greetings!

Hi, my name is Joe and I have been a diver for 30 years. One day at a time.

I am qualified as a BSAC Sports diver (originally 3rd class) but have an unfortunate habit of never logging dives or completing training courses. I guesstimate I have done over 1200 dives.

I am member of Ipswich Sub-Aua Club, a more friendly, fun and active club you would be hard pressed to find.

I particularly enjoy diving the wrecks along the east anglian coastline. Difficult visibility and launch conditions together with a huge number of wrecks mean that most are infrequently visited and you don't have to go technical to visit one that has not been polished by daily visits of divers.

I enjoy organising dives, using the two club RIBS, mainly because everybody in the club pulls together so well that it is so easy that it makes me look good. However other members have caught onto this recently and dive organising is getting competitive.

I enjoy the flaura and fauna, particularly anything that I can catch that is edible. I am not allowed in the house after a dive unless accompanied by dinner. I do a little underwater video, though mostly this is done abroad.

My pet hates are; noise pollution, the increasing number of people with computers that bleep for any conceivable reason, or underwater horns that are used relenltessly, and also lost lobster pots, why on earth don't they have biodegradable bindings so that they don't keep trapping critters for ever and a day.

Cheers
Joe
