It was ony detected in me due to genetic screening as my father was diagnosed with it but he was verging on alcoholism and had suffered from Hepatitus many years ago. This led to his genetic pre-disposition to be accentuated.
I do not have any symptoms and my liver function tests are negative.
If you are at the level of blood letting to reduce the iron, I would definitely speak to a diving doc to get a good answer.

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits. |
