| I use the SPV M700, looks very similier and I would think both are made by Palm on the same operation system.
I use Tom Tom 5 software and get on great with it, works well with the in build GPS, so much more user friendly the the m500.
Excel is ok, camera fine and the wi-fi web access pretty useful.
The piratebay is a great place for the Tom Tm software, I bought mine from Ebay - come to that pm me if you can't find anything that suits.
Worst bit is actually the phone - key lock a pain but memory system for contacts is good.
