Hi, hope the recovery goes well. Just thought on a serious side though us blokes shouldn't just shrug it off as will go away!
I had a similar experience with pain in the same area, caused I beleive by just getting up a bit quick from a chair. 2 days later & with a testie the size of an orange (I kid you not!!) up to the docs.
Receptionist said no appointments available that day, I point out the pain being experienced and she still holds her ground. I needed to take emergancy measures so informed said person if I didn't see a doctor I was going to take off all my clothes and stand in reception until I did see one (or the police came!). She laughed and said oh really!
Well, she soon changed her mind after the jumper and shirt came off and the belt to the trousers was undone.
When I was eventually examined, I was imobilised and an ambulance was called. I had a torsion that if left untreated could cause an un timely end. I was operated on that day and left hospital a few days later.
Moral : Don't ignore it and if you can't get passed the receptionist, take your clothes off!!  |
