Interesting reading your info on the Flying boats.
I got sent the sketch I previously refered to one of the local aviation historians, who was well into excavating aircraft. Your description of the supposed location seems identical to the sketch he supplied, I'll e mail you a copy if interested let me know, it is sketchy pardon the pun.
Theres also supposed to be a Beaufighter in there.
