Yes, of course I owe thanks for that, and I do, or did have a few members of my family in the Forces. The point I was trying to make was people now become solders by choice, no one is forced into it; and hence <hopefully> knew the risks when signing up.
On the other side of the coin, endangered marine creatures are in that state, most probably not down to their choice, but down to humanity's hand?
But, whichever way the vote goes, I am willing to support either or both.
