I'm guessing that day and weekend trips to the south coast are the easiest way to get wet? I've only briefly heard of some diving in Brighton, but will have to read up on these forums to see what other dive sites are easily accessible from London. I have an interest in wrecks too, and have heard that a lot of wrecks on the south coast are at a relatively shallow depth.

There are some from 25 mtrs (a few) right down to 60 mtrs. Eastbourne, Newhaven, Brighton and Dover ............. to name a few places for dive charters.
