[Whistler]

The time is soon here for me to change my laptop and before I just follow the crowd and get a Windows based PC, which are incredibly cheap now, I thought I would take the blinkers off and consider my options. I am not an IT guru by any standards but am able to get by on the basic PC operations, and use it mainly for Internet, music library, photo's, and personal finance records (the usual stuff). I would be interested in peoples take on the pros and cons of either, but as the title says, could it be in layman's terms. Thanks
