I think your making a misleading comparison. Its not the fault of Windows but the hardware in your laptop giving you problems. Ok windows may use more memory but you will get a more powerful Windows computer for the same money you spend on an Apple that will do all things you mention and more.
The key advantage of Apple is user friendly tasks.
