Hi Mark

It took a while but I got the answer to the above. The "ascent time" on the Vytec is limited to a viewable 99 minuits and when the calculated ascent time goes over this, the screen displays (- -) but does not loose track of the calculations, they stay in the background and you still get a notification of your deepest stop. When the Vytec has calculated less that 99 minuits of ascent time left, the figures re-appear and continue to count down normaly as deco decreases. Again, for my type of diving this will never be a problem, as I will never be in a position where I get over an hour and a half of deco, but if your into that kind of thing at least you know it still works.
