The shelf is very silty, but no problem provided you're not a shit-kicker. Vis can be variable but is usually a decent 10Mish.
I'm not bothered whether you want to stick to the shelf or dash off to 45M. If there are enough of us we could have people doing either.
If you've not done it before it is a nice dive along the cliff wall. The cliff also presents opportunities for you to do a dive at any intermediate depth as you can have a constant visual reference.

If you do get to wastwater, have a quick look at the base of the cliff (48M
) to see if my little gift is still there....you shouldn't miss it if its there
