This time of year either... wet is OK if boosted with a hood/top but the wind can really cut through you on the RIB / boat deck. A drysuit prevents this but adds extra hassle.... and you need to be sure of your back-up plan if you (or some other well meaning individual) split a seal. On a liveaboard if you are going down the dry option I think you really need both... if you are anything like me this will mean another pair of fins...then there's the weight issue!

If shore diving you can always get away with a problem suit by hiring kit and getting a fast repair... at sea these options do not exist.

Have a great time... we will be out in mid April... can't wait.
