| Hi,
I've done Souther trips in May, June and December. May was very calm, June - OK, December was larger waves and swells. I take Stugeron 2nr in the am plus if it get rough I lay down on my bed but am normally OK. I was seasick on Xmas day down South only as I was on the zodiac waiting for a twin set diver to re-appear!
So in conclusion all were OK and were very enjoyable, currents wise they are there all year round but nothing to worry about. The best time down South at St Johns etc is May, sharks and the big stuff are around until June and come back when the water gets cooler after the summer. Travel times are long going to St Johns - I prefer the Brothers, Daedulus and Elphinstone - and always go with Blue O Two, any other queries pm me. |
