Question Uwatec dive timer failure

Whilst training in Stoney yesterday, on the 4th dive of 4 over 2 days the Uwatec dive timer I use as a backup against my computer went all wacky - one minute it was fine and dandy, and the next it was displaying a 4-6m depth error, 99.9m max depth dived, 24 degs temp error and a constantly changing depth.

Anyone have any ideas what is causing this?

I am reading with dismay that these units don't have user replaceable batteries which means that if it has failed then I have to replace it

Cheers for tips etc.
