You think for one moment that Phill has ever got one wet let alone in low vis??
I use LED backups (Salvo 3C Rat, Salvo Rat Jnr, Photon LED and a Hesser) and I have deployed all of them in low vis. The Photon is an older LED and its focus is rubbish but in low vis the others blow Halogen backups away.
I tried an official H LED Scout and it's beam was weird. It was like a hollow ring with a big black spot in the middle and bright edge to it. Compared to that I'd stick with Halogen but the LED upgrades from Knackers *should* be different.
Or just sell the scout as it is and with that money and the cash you'd spend on the LED upgrade just buy an LED backup light...
