A lack of basic diving skills is normally the cause. Hydration or a lack of it, is right up there though.

It is hard for the ladies to stay properly hydrated unless they like wearing adult baby nappies or are prepared to use internal cathaterisation and a normal P-valve (seems a bit extreme to me!). A p-valve is mandatory if you want to be properly hydrated while drysuit diving (unless you like the adult baby nappies - oh the shame). There must be a large market for a p-valve for girls.
