| I have my transmitter straight onto the first stage and also have never had any problems with poor signal. It sits higher than the lp hoses as i have the hoses coming out lower as they are more than likely to be the snag hazard, I have never banged it or damaged it even when exploring some of the wrecks in the red sea.
