Dropping to pressure will certainly shrink the bubble, "hopefully" then limiting the damage and hopefully alllowing the bubble to go back into solution and come out "proper like". As to "will it sort it", no-one has the answer to that until it's done, and even then you're going to end up in a chamber being examined by an expert sooner or later.
