The ikelite dual cord comes with plastic caps that go over the connectors. Ikelite don't suggest using these underwater, so you have to attach both ends to something like a strobe. Get a single cord and if you get a second strobe then get a dual one. There are three extra failure points in the dual cord compared with the single.
