I am carrying out an MSc dissertation on the feasibility of creating
a permanent Marine Sanctuary (no-take) Zone around the Scylla Reef in Whitsand Bay, Cornwall. As part of this project I would like to
survey the opinions of a reasonably large number of recreational divers throughout the country and so have designed an online survey. Mark Mumford (who kindly created the webpage for my survey) suggested that you may be able to help me with making BSAC members aware of the webpage. Would it be possible for you to send out an email to all the BSAC
Area coaches all over the country and ask them to send the details of the
web address on to their branches? I am working to a very tight schedule, so the quicker I can start downloading completed surveys the more analysis I will be able to carry out. Please could you let me know if you are able to help? This would be an enormous help to my project, which hopefully will aide the protection of the UKs marine life and result in a better diving experience on the Scylla Reef.
