[quote=nickb;902943]Are the Poles not paying tax like the rest of us then?
It seems it's fine for Brits to swan around the world coining it in, paying little or no tax and sending all the cash back here, but not OK for Johnny Foreigner to come over here, taking our jobs & shagging all our women, and do the same.

Whoa Tiger, lets get this back on track.
In my first post I made no referal to people travelling to other contries to work, regardless of where they originate from. I never said that I condone or support Brits working in tax free countries, so where didi that come from?
As we keep banging on about supporting our LDS, so shouldn't the Poles who work here support the community in which they live? Not just saving their money & sending it home. I imagine a large portion of the imigrants who come to this country to better themselves would agree with this. I merely agree with the sentiments of John Howard ( or whoever wrote the opening piece ) that if you choose to live in a country not of your origin try to fit in.

I didn't slag off anyone I simply stated that the local guys who work for my cousin aren't prepared to work a little overtime when his buisness requires it. He doesn't put a gun to their heads or threaten to sack them, he asks them, they refuse, he moans about it a little.

Socalism supports the idea of the workers running the way in which the community operates, as opposed to capitalism, where the buisness owners run the show.
& as far as being a bigot, that couldn't be further off the mark. Its just my point of view, I am not trying to ram my opinion down anyones throat, I simply agree with the sentiments of John Howard, I welcome people to the country who wish to benefit from everything we enjoy, not just turn up here expect things to be free & to live by the laws of the country.
If I have offended you or your pinciples in anyway, I apologise, but you do seem to have taken a rather aggressive way of responding to my opinion.
