Essentially the idea with any skill demo is to break the skill down into the component steps and at a speed where a student can see how the skill can be done. As I've said for real dives you'd most likely have the bag and spool connected and the bag goes up in less than 30 seconds. But if you demo'd that to students they wouldn't have a chuffing clue how to replicate it.
