Not sure i agree with any of that. Typically whenever i travel by train im VERY stressed. Its often later arriving, often putting in jeopardy any connections or meetings and is sometimes cancelled altogether leaving me stranded.
In the car ive got a comfy seat, heating set to a level i want, music that i want played through speakers and the ability to leave exactly when i want to arrive at a time i choose. If i want the toilet there are service stations.
Unfortunately if you have to get to somewhere by a certain time you really cant risk the trains generally nationwide, especially if something important is riding on arriving there.
