| blimey! not dived that since I was in the mob and left NI in 1995, is the funnel still standing or collapsed yet? there was a dive shop in Bangor (Down Diving) run by Stanley (since passed on to the grand seabed above) and he had lots of brass off it.....there is also a story about the bell which I find feasible in some respects but not in others. Was always a back up dive. One thing I found was the hawse pipes were brass. Started to drill them off only to return a months later and they were gone. someone had some seriuos gear to get them off.
