| Just a report back, did the job and installed cfw 3.7. Played with this for a bit, got used to what it could do ie backing up my umd's onto pc then memory stick/speeding up clock speed etc.
THEN, on my second psp I upgraded to 3.9 vs 2. Am well impressed. Can even get internet radio. Have had no problems and have a pandora battery with a modded memory stick so can always re=install if I brick either of them at any time.
What a wonderful invention, there are even programmes out there that emulate dos and let you run the oldie games, doom, wolfenstein etc. Takes me back.
My psp is going to accompany me on any liveaboards I do in future.
