That's why I got one. 80% of all my dives are triangular profile - a computer is ideal for this.

Actually, after looking hard at a Gecko/Vyper, I'm seriously considering getting another Uwatec - my Aladin Pro has worked faultlessly for 9 years now and still has 57% voltage showing; I might spend $140 on a new battery or $600+ on a completely new computer that can do nitrox too, although I would dive nitrox on air profiles, when I used it. I'm thinking the Aladin Prime, which incorporates a watch or else the bog standard Aladin 1, which should be fine for my sort of diving - I don't give a ratsarse about downloading my dive profiles to a PC; as long as I'm not bent after the dive, I'm not terribly interested in what went on minute to minute..

The only thing that dissatisfies with my current model is the expense of changing the battery - the newer ones are user replaceable.
