My response was intended to be that a marine nature reserve in a defined area is a good idea.

I cant see it working if it stops local fishermen plying their trade, but can see the sense of divers leaving critters for the next diver to see. Especially if they drive down from Lancashire.

But having said that, why should we pay for the priviledge ?
