I also think there are some bloody greedy garage owners out there exploiting us all. The range if prices for petrol in my relatively small town in ridiculous. I just tried to fill up, with the needle hovering dangerously on empty (so I didn't risk the trek up the road to Morrisons where I know it will be cheap).
The 'Total' garage one mile down the road from me had sold out (stupid panic buyers) but was charging 110.9 a litre. I continued on to the one I really wanted to go to another mile down the road. This is another Total garage yet they were charging 106.9 a litre and had loads of petrol left. WTF  | I seem to recall a greedy garage owner charging total rip off prices during the tanker drivers strike a few years ago. When the strike was over enough people avoided his garage to put him out of business pretty quickly.
