unfortunately, the information just isn't there, so doctors give a mixture of their best assessment of current research and personal opinion. it is disconcerting when 'experts' give different advice, but what can you do.

here's an opinion*: if you need your reliever then take it and don't dive. as for using a reliever after a dive, personally i'd rather avoid an acute asthma attack than worry about a theoretical increased risk of DCS.

*but, you know your body better than i do and it's your life.
