But for arguments sake it is a style of diving. Then isn't PADI's dive today a style of diving too and I don't see a section for that. I am sure BSAC and the other agencies have a name for their style but were is there forum.

DIR fundamentals is the instructor a fundamentalist? Sometimes is seem to be getting that way. Almost a dive our way or die message. I am not against DIR per say or any other training agency oh sorry that should be GUE. It does seem to be taking over the board a lot more since when I started posting. Maybe its because its shiny and new to people and they want to know more, that other divers are not as vocal or maybe because other divers are a not posting because they think they will get shot down in flames by DIR/GUE divers.

Just some more thoughts on the subject
