| The scratch sounds deliberate. Screw in tyre possibly not if the car hadn't moved. Screws are hard to put in by hand.
If you noticed it after moving the car, then is a possibility that it was deliberate as it is quite easy to stand a screw between the tyre and the ground when it is stationary, and when you move off the weight of the car pushes it in. Please don't ask me how I know this.......
