| Twin 7.6Ls I have recently acquired a pair of 7.6L x 260 Bar steelies, made by Catalina (which was news to me as I thought they only made Aluminiums).
I've got them set up as Indies with a pair of Oceanic Omegas and intend to take us all for a spin on the weekend, along with ClassyChic and her long-suffering husband Nick, for a try-out, mainly for weighting purposes, at a local shore dive site 10 mins from my house (Also a Marine Reserve which makes it pretty cool), max depth about 10m.
I normally dive with a 12L or 15L which in the water are identical buoyancy wise. Only trouble is, I've no idea how much weight to think about removing from the belt to achieve something like neutrality with the twins.
I seem to remember seeing a table somewhere which compared weights, density, relative buoyancy, shoe size and inside leg measurement etc etc for a whole heap of different makes, size & WP of different cylinders.
Does anyoe know where I can find this, or failing that, have any suggestions as to the differences in buoyancy between a 12L steelie on the one hand and a pair of 7.6Ls on the other, or failing that even, 7Ls or 8Ls, so I can interpolate?
