I'm also a great fan of the show. On a more serious note, there was recently a documentary on Humph's career, where he was asked who were the greatest musicians he'd played with. He immediately replied "this lot", refering to the current members of his band. As well as simply being an utterly charming thing to say about them, to me it was a quite profound point about music and jazz being about what you're doing now, rather than past reputations, and also reflects the importance he gave his friends and collegues, all of whom were a third his age. I never met him, nor even saw him at a gig, but will miss him all the same.

Although irreplacable, I rather hope the show can go on
